Well if we want to admit it or not there is a serious lack of momentum at the moment. How ever it is always darkest before the dawn and if we actually put forth the legwork we could generate a tremendous upswell in the numbers of political activists in our ranks. It is quite obvious from the Canadians I talk with that they feel powerless against being sold out by their government.
This is my first post to this forum but one thing that crossed my mind was just how controlled the people are, this is of course due largely to the mainstream media and their omissions and fabrications. At this moment it is highly unlikely that this party will be receiving any significant media attention, and especially not on the majority of issues raised in the Canadian action parties policy document.
Our first priority needs too be raising the awareness of the political party and its most important platform topic. The number one issue that needs to be addressed is monetary reform, and national sovereignty. These are directly intertwined and quite encompassing topics. Thankfully how ever almost everyone knows it's increasingly more and more difficult for the average working Canadian to make ends meet, they also realize taxation is reaching extreme levels!
Since I do not believe we are going to be financed by the big boys we are out to take control back from we must develop a genuine grassroots level political party. This is not unprecedented in recent times, nor in developed nations such as ours,(UK Independance party for example), the time is right for this but it will take actual leg work and follow through on simple tactics to make it work.
The people are apathetic but they know the current political and corporate culture of corruption is wrong, they are merely disenfranchised with politics since politicans don't come out promising the actual changes the majority support! We must start a push the best way we can without access to the mainstream media, on this forum the only mention of easily dispersed literature I have seen mentioned is a CAP comic. We need to setup a respository of highly simplistic yet effective fliers illustrating how our debts have ballooned while higher paying manufacturing jobs have all but vanished starting in approximately 1974.
I will be making something up and have already started mulling around some ideas, I am not really experienced with making fliers but right now that is the most effective way to raise awareness. They need to clearly illustrate the criminal activities, actions, and faces of politicians from our main rivals the Conservatives and Liberals. The only chance we have of making a difference is with feet on the pavement spreading the word and associating the CAP with Canadian sovereignty and positive monetary reform that is in the best interest of all current and future Canadians!
