I thought it'd be in everyone's best interest to start a thread regarding the Gulf Oil spill seeing as how it is destined to effect all our lives across North and Central America.

I have been updating my knowledge on the spill and the "clean up" taking place daily and some interesting facts I have accumulated to date are:

-> BP president sold 33% of his BP stocks 2 months before the gusher began.
-> Goldman Sachs sold 50% of BP stocks 2 months before gusher began.
-> There is a media blackout in effect. Police officers, civillians, media and cleanup crew have all been arrested for speaking to the wrong people or asking too many questions.
-> BP employees are taking it upon themselves to cordon off the beach. Yes, a foreign enterprise is taking American law into their own hands.
-> underwater GPS systems are monitoring a 20-30 mile long gas filled bubble at the bottom of the Gulf that could possibly burst and create a tsunami. This has not been mentioned on mainstream news.

-> BP was Obama's #1 biggest donation of corporate money during his '08 election.
-> Goldman Sachs was unsurprisingly #2

Oil is not the only thing spewing from the gusher. Other gases are too, such as:

-> hydrogen sulfide: 5-10ppb is not dangerous to human health. The levels are testing 1,200 ppb currently.

-> Benzine: toxic & carcinogen - EPA only allows 0-4 ppb, current levels measure 3,000 ppb. This chemical is highly cancerous.

Also, from a BP inside source, as told on the Alex Jones Show by Rev. Lindsey Williams, the amount of oil leaking from the gusher is currently at 25,000 gallons and rising.

Toxins are being reported as over 200X that of normal levels along the Gulf coast.

The "elite" have set a 2010 deadline to impose or propose a carbon-tax. This event is speculated as being the event which sets the bills and legislation rolling.

According to Rev. Lindsey Williams, the hundreds of people he has spoken to in the Gulf and on Florida talk shows have ALL said there is no visible evidence that the military is getting ready for mass evacuations of citizens.
