TOPIC: Goldman Sachs crystal ball

Goldman Sachs crystal ball 1 year, 11 months ago #836

Some how goldman sachs has obtained a crystal ball that allows them to see into the future.Using this crystal ball Goldman seen the BP oil well blow up days before it actually did and so they sold 4.6 million shares of BP stock just days before the well blew up and thus saved themselves alot of money. This isnt the first time theyve used this crystal ball with dramatic effect another time in sept. 2001 the crystal ball showed 2 airlines involved in the destruction of 2 buildings in new york and so goldman sachs bought alot of put options on the 2 airlines which made Goldman alot of money when the airline stock crashed. Its not yet known if goldman sachs will share this crystal ball technology with the rest of the world but i suspect NOT!..... for leagle purposes it must be pointed out that they dont really have a crystal ball and this is satire and dean connolly is not part of a plot to slander goldman sachs

This used to be a SERIOUS political party. Unfortunately, Mr. Hellyer started seeing little green people and Mrs. Fogal was more than willing to go along with it. Then, Mr. Mouldon decided that autism was...well, we all know what he believed. Now, it seems that ANY conspiracy theory is welcome!

Yes, some terrible things have happened in the past. Yes, some terrible things are happening now. Fine. Where are the facts? Prove to me that the transactions you have mentioned actually took place. Prove to me that Goldman-Sachs was directly involved in these incidents.

Where is the moderator for this group? You just can't make accusations without proof! Do we want to be a political party with legitimate ideas regarding the use of the Bank of Canada and our role in international trade (the original purpose and motivators of this party), or has the Canadian Action Party become an excuse for those in the "truth" movement to receive income tax credits for the their contributions?

Re:Goldman Sachs crystal ball 1 year, 11 months ago #849

The facts have been reported in the news so look for youself. If you think the reporting is false then wheres your proof the news reporters are lying when they say goldman sachs sold 1.4 million shares in BP.Wheres your proof that the reporters were lying about the put options on the airlines??Why should i need to prove goldman sachs involvement in anything to you because i made some remarks about some reported facts???Why not ask some one like the reporters that typed the story for proof if its so hard for you to beleive?I didnt accuse goldman sachs of any thing that wasnt reported in the news i simply made some sarcastic remarks about the facts. Are people not allowed to discuss things reported in the media is that why your calling for a moderator to censure me?Where did I type that this is a theory about a conspiracy? Is every fact that you dont like to hear about a conspiracy theory ?Dont tell me i make accusations with out proof when im simply commenting on something reported in the news .I didnt join this party to recieve a tax break ha ha what a joke that is and im not in a truth movement but i also see nothing wrong with the truth would you rather people were searching for lies than the truth??If you think people should only concern themselves with what ever you deem to be of concern and nothing else then good luck with that because not every one is a clone of you.

First, merely stating: "just look for yourself" is not proof. If you wish to make allegations, then you have to back it up.

Second, just because a journalist reports something is not proof of anything! I'm sorry, but they have an agenda as well, and we all have to keep that in mind.

Third, I do expect that any moderator of this group should keep in mind the legal consequences of those who post on this forum. If you wish to make slanderous or libel comments, please do so on your own personal blog, etc. Do not do so on a CAP page. As a member of CAP, if this party were to be found in the wrong because of your rants, then we all pay, and--personally--I can think of much better things that the party can do with the funds that they have than pay for the damages caused by childish accusations.

Ok now commenting on a news report is slandering oh no im going to be sued .i did not make allegations i commented on a news report.Am I not allowed to comment on news reports because you dont like the report and suspect its not accurate? You dont want to look for yourself moneycentral.msn.com/ownership?Holding=I...ership&Symbol=BP then dont bother but dont accuse me of slander and childish accusations if you have no proof.www.huffingtonpost.com/andy-borowitz/gol...als-it_b_558774.html

Thank you! So we have shown that a particular transaction has taken place with one particular company regarding another on a particular day on one stock exchange. Now...how does this prove that Goldman-Sachs had prior knowledge to the BP spill?

Re:Goldman Sachs crystal ball 1 year, 11 months ago #857

What is it you dont get about this post???Do u see anywhere that i typed this is proof positive goldman sachs had prior knowledge of an oil spill??? I made a sarcastic remark about a news story and you want to argue that im a childish accuser making slanderous statements that are illeagle and a member of some truth movement trying to get a tax break. You just want to argue for the sake of arguing ?Whats the point of coming here making out that your party is being run by idiots and full of idiotic members if thats what you really think then join the liberals or conservatives or who ever it is you think will be up to your standards.

Re:Goldman Sachs crystal ball 1 year, 11 months ago #859

No. My point is this: I am sick and tired of seeing all of the BS conspiracy theories that yourself and others wish to post on this board.

I won't pretend to represent anyone but myself.

As one of the original members of this party, though, I have decided that it is time to express my opinion.

I have been patient. I have seen many "leaders" come and go. I have seen the goods times (there were few) and I have seen the bad times (too many to bother mentioning).

I am done being patient. I have had enough. For too long, the original intentions of this party have been hijacked by the opportunists in the "truth" movement who wish to find a boogey-man in ever shadow.

This IS NOT what the Canadian Action Party was MEANT to be. If you don't like it, then I would respectfully suggest that you go elsewhere!

Re:Goldman Sachs crystal ball 1 year, 11 months ago #863

Conspiracy and theory are not inseperable words not all conspiracy is theory. It seems to me that some people are unable to say conspiracy with out the theory added to it.There really is such a thing as a conspiracy and some conspiracies are criminal.Im sorry if some people dont like the fact that some criminal conspiracy is unprosecuted and they want to discuss it here. It must be hard on people like you that dont like other people expressing opinions that you dont want to hear about.I have nothing to do with this truth movement you seem so worried about but I see nothing wrong with looking for the truth.I see nothing wrong with people seeking to find out the truth behind a crime when they feel the truth hasnt been told.If some one killed a member of my family and i felt the crime was being covered up I would be considered a conspiracy kook by your standards even if i had good reasons to suspect a cover up.Please tell me what exactly is the harm in investigating a crime? What is the point of labeling people who want to discuss criminal conspiracy as kooks and idiots? Will calling people kooks help stop them from wanting to know the truth or would it be better to investigate and seek out the truth so you can show if theyre wrong or right. Are people only allowed to talk about what you want to talk about is that how you want this party to work?mabey its you that should go else where and join with only those who agree to stick to the matters that matter to you and nothing else. Why dont you join the conservatives there you will find that theres no tolerance for opinions that dont coincide with stephan harpers opinions all you'd have to do is replace steve as the dictator of the party .

Goldman Sachs sells BP shares just days before the rig explodes haliburton buys clean up company days before and the BP CEO sells off shares a couple weeks before and the people actually working on the rig tell BP execs the rig will blow before it does.So there is no crystal ball they knew because the people working on the rig told them. How clever.I wonder if the crime here is slander of goldman sachs, british petroleum and haliburton or is it the crime of murdering oil rig workers and causing a huge enviromental disaster? www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/201...-gonna-happen/57775/
